Fiberglass - this type of filter is a low-cost way to catch much of the larger dust particles that circulate in the air. However, they are not as effective at removing smaller particles.
Electronic - this type of filter needs electricity to work properly. It can remove smoke particles and other debris in the air. However, this type of filter has a high initial cost and requires regular maintenance.
Reusable - this filter uses a plastic or metal foil pad that can be cleaned and reused. Typically, it can last up to 5 years.
Deep-pleated - this type of filter offers the highest efficiency however it requires a special box to hold it.
Pleated polyester - this type attracts smaller particles and offers a larger filter capacity than other types. It can be used for up to 3 months.

Two Great HVAC Experiences

Did an excellent job on two repairs. The first was an emergency call for a furnace repair when it was 4 degrees F outside. They showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, went for parts, repaired the furnace all in about an hours time. The second repair was for the whole house humidifier attached to the furnace. It was a minor issue and corrected in less than 40 minutes. Everything is working great. My experience with their work is excellent.
